Cleanup, organizing, and maximizing value from old laydown areas that have old spares, process units, outdated material and surplus salable items.
GSD’s scrap division provides onsite processing of exchanger bundles, oversize vessels, generators, transformers etc… that need to be processed due to transportation, size or weight restrictions. Our crews are fully trained and qualified for plant work.
GSD provides live loading and other trucking services for scrap pickups during turnarounds, demolition projects and other time sensitive projects. GSD can provide onsite trucking for relocation and shuttling material to internal plant areas or offsite to be recycled.
We provide scrap roll off boxes and containers to petrochemical industry, machine shops, shipyards and other industrial clients. We cater to the client and focus on service. GSD sells directly to steel mills and smelters in order to provide the most competitive long term pricing.
GSD provided dock services and crane support (land and water) to ferry equipment to this remote island. We used spud and deck barges to transport equipment to and from the job site and provided crew boats as needed.
On this project, GSD mechanically dredged 60,000 cubic yards of maintenance material for an operational shipyard facility. Coordinated dredging activities with 6 active dry docks and barge railway systems. All material was staged and trucked to a local landfill for disposal.
Installed 500′ of new sheet piling bulkhead. Dredge out overburden of existing shoreline. Install new barge side launch beam system which consists of driving forty-eight 20″ concrete piling and setting eight rows of 90′ length 30″ I-beams.
GSD completed a recent project that included the Decommissioning, Decontamination, Demolition, and Remediation of 2,600 feet of 16-inch pipe under the Texas City Ship Channel.
GSD recently completed a project in Deer Park, Texas that involved the Remediation and Removal of 30,000 cubic yards of material, and Included Type “C” PPE, specialized equipment and procedures, and decontamination procedures.
Decommissioning, Decontamination, and Demolition of the Calciner areas. Included the remediation of universal wastes, asbestos abatement, rerouting of utilities, and demolition and dismantlement of the Calciner areas.
Decommissioning, Decontamination, and Demolition of Unit 1 and 2 of the Electric Static Precipitators. This project in Craig, Colorado included the remediation of universal wastes, decontamination of the units, asbestos abatement, and demolition and dismantlement of the units.
This project in Pasadena, Texas involved the Decommissioning, Decontamination, Demolition and Implosion of 4 process units, and also included the remediation of universal wastes, asbestos abatement, and rerouting of utilities.
Decommissioning, Decontamination, and Interior Demolition of Buildings of the entire Facility. Included the remediation of universal wastes, asbestos abatement, and interior demolition of multiple buildings.
This La Porte, Texas project included the remediation of universal wastes, asbestos abatement, rerouting of utilities, and demolition and dismantlement of the units. Also included were the Decommissioning, Decontamination, and Demolition of 7 process units.
